I spent eighteen years at operating companies, mainly in reservoir engineering and project development. Today I apply that experience to asset evaluation, automation, and AI tools for energy and mining.

Data and AI for decisions
Dashboards, models, and agents built on internal or public data. Applications include basin activity, asset evaluation, and energy trading.
Reservoir engineering
Full-field simulation, geomodeling, reserves progression, development planning, forecasting, and waterflood surveillance. Petrel, Eclipse, and CMG.
Project development
Asset valuation, data rooms, production forecasts, and economic evaluation. Project development from the initial idea through the investment decision.
Energy as a system
Gas transport and storage, petrochemical appraisal, and energy transition projects. Also, a register of fourteen cyber incidents in Argentina's energy sector.
Interpretability research covers the work on language models. Projects can also bring in specialists in geology, geophysics, facilities, or software.
Track record
Eighteen years at operating companies, with work in the Neuquén basin, at Camisea, and in mature fields in Ecuador. Later roles added global reserves, gas storage, petrochemicals, and energy transition.

Evaluation of new-business projects through the investment decision. Most of the work covered sustainable aviation fuel with UOP, Technip, and LanzaJet, through conceptual engineering. The projects evaluated did not move into execution.

Tecpetrol's technical representative in the Camisea consortium, blocks 88 and 56, responsible for the full-field simulation model. In Ecuador, work on Shushufindi and Libertador-Atacapi. Co-creator of Well Expert, an internal well-data application.

Reservoir engineering at El Porvenir and Centenario, with more than 40 well interventions and field training. In corporate engineering, technical support for asset valuation, including the purchase of Petroandina Resources' Argentine interest for over US$ 300 million.

Five years teaching Petroleum Project Appraisal and two as a researcher at the Reservoir Simulation Research Center. Two publications on reservoir simulation applied to lithium brine salars.
